Elections & Fair Political Practices

The City Clerk conducts City Council elections and administers the filing of all Fair Political Practice Commission forms. Elections The City of Rocklin general municipal elections are held in November of even-numbered years. Other special elections may be called from time to time by the City Council. Information for the November 2, 2010 General Election Candidates must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the United States, and a registered voter residing within the City limits at the time the Nomination Paper is issued. Voter Resistration To be eligible to vote in an election, you must register at least 15 days prior to the election date. Once you have registered, your voter registration will remain active, regardless of whether you voted in the last election.You are Entitled to Register to Vote if You are: A U.S. citizen at the time of registration; a California resident; at least 18 years of ages; and not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction.
