Brett Storey was first elected to the City Council in 2000. He also served as Mayor in 2004 and 2008. Brett and his wife Corinne (a Rocklin 2nd grade teacher) and their three children (who all attend Rocklin schools) have lived in Rocklin for 19 years. He has been involved in many Rocklin organizations including:
• Two terms on the Board of Trustees for the Rocklin Unified School District • Little League baseball (Board and Coaching) • Pony baseball (Board and Coaching) • Scouts • Various school committees • Long time Chamber of Commerce member • Various other citizen groups

As an avid sports fan, he enjoys coaching baseball and has been an assistant varsity coach at Whitney High School and supports local sports teams. Brett is employed as a Senior Management Analyst for the Placer County Planning Natural Resources Department where he works to make Placer County fire safe, implementing alternative energy projects, and working to re-license the American River hydroelectric project. He spent 15 years in the aerospace industry designing airplane cockpits and another 9 years working as a world-wide procurement manager at Hewlett Packard. He graduated from California State University, Chico in 1982 with a BS in Business Administration, and he also attended graduate school at USC in Systems Engineering.
