Office of the City Manager-Economic Development

Under the direction of the City Manager, the Office of the City Manager-Economic Development coordinates and monitors all activities associated with economic and social development.

This office, through community partnerships, does the following:

• Creates an economic vision to identify and acknowledge our strengths and weaknesses
• Outlines sustainable strategies for growing our economy
• Identifies target industries and strategic investment locations to ensure a positive return on investment to our community
• Builds partnerships for sustainable economic development
  This Office works to keep Rocklin livable, by acting on two overarching approaches to economic vitalization - strengthening what we already have and pursuing what we need to achieve a strong, diversified local economy.
