The City of Rocklin encourages spaying and neutering. The license fee for an altered pet is $14.40 for a one-year license, and the fee for an unaltered pet is $28.80 for a one-year license. If your dog’s vaccination certificate will be valid for two or three-years, licenses must be purchased to the expiration of the certificate.
Taking time to license your pet now could save you money in the future! Licensing is required for all dogs 4 months and older. A late fee will apply for licenses purchased over 30 days late.
Purchasing a license and attaching a tag to your dog’s collar is one of the most important things you can do as a responsible pet owner. Displaying a current license tag on your pet’s collar makes it easy for animal control officers to quickly locate a lost dog’s owner information. It could be your pet’s ticket home!
