Parks & Recreation Commission The Parks & Recreation Commission is an advisory board to the Rocklin City Council serving alternating four-year terms. Commissioners are appointed by the Rocklin City Council. The Commission oversees the selection and master planning process for all city parks; conducts public workshops for the design of parks, promotes healthy lifestyles through the city's Community Services & Facilities Recreation programs, and "Step Up to Health" program.

The Parks & Recreation Commission holds its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located at 3970 Rocklin Road (2nd Floor).
